The Supply Chain Lead will support the Supply Chain Manager in implementing supply chain strategies, supervising personnel, and ensuring efficient demand planning and procurement processes. The role involves assisting in cost control, timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards across the supply chain.
· Assist in achieving supply chain and cost reduction targets by overseeing specific demand planning activities.
· Contribute to programs or projects aimed at reducing costs, resolving quality issues, and improving supply reliability.
· Support sourcing, procurement, and material activities to align with policies and processes focused on quality and efficiency.
· Assist in developing and managing supplier relationships and strategic sourcing initiatives.
· Participate in negotiations, supply agreements, and purchase order terms in collaboration with the Manager.
· Maintain processes for supplier communications, procurement activities, and sourcing strategies.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and company standards.
· Provide guidance and training to junior team members for skill enhancement and performance improvement.
· Assist in estimating cost parameters and managing budgets for purchases.
· Prepare and review quotations, purchase orders, and invoices for internal approval.
· Maintain and update supplier databases, including areas of expertise and added value.
· Ensure Proper Documentation of All Departmental Expenditure
· Work Closely with Warehouse Officers to Ensure Proper Close-out of Delivery to Customers
Education:
· Minimum HND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management

Minimum Experience:
At least 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, preferably with team leadership exposure.
Knowledge of the power, gas, and offshore industry; familiarity with rotating equipment is an advantage.
Professional Memberships:
CIPS or equivalent is desirable
